From a psychological point of view, time is subjective for each individual person and it depends on how a person perceives it and how, he is aware of the change of events. How to speed up time? How to speed up time? There have been situations in our lives when we were looking forward to something. Either this is a grand event that could turn your life around, or it is something insignificant, but important for you. Even if it's just waiting for pizza.

How can you bring your event closer? Everyone knows that time cannot be “accelerated”, but it can be used as a tool.

Distraction from expectations

From a psychological point of view, time is perceived, either faster or slower. Any of you noticed that when you stand in a long line, time almost stands still, and an interesting lesson flies by.

Therefore, in order to accelerate the perception of time, you need to do something exciting, i.e. distract from your expectations.

For example: go on an exciting date, go in for extreme sports, give all your best to the university, at work, and, of course, make all friends, play computer games, sign up for a foreign language course, write poems or then collect puzzles if age allows you, then have children. Time will fly either slowly but fleetingly. Put your wardrobe, flowers in order, and it is better to go shopping, and in the evening take a hot bath with essential oils. In the evening, prepare a delicious dinner with complex recipes.

The main thing is not to fall into the trap of meaningless pastime, when time passes quickly, and then you are lost in conjecture where did it go.

Slowdown

If you say that you cannot accelerate the passage of time, then slow down yourself: do everything slower, sleep longer, listen to slow music, watch soothing programs, don’t get annoyed in stores, take sedatives (but don’t overdo it), be cured of irritability, worry about the psyche , read a lot of different books, don’t turn on your watch, don’t look at your watch at all, go home on foot or take other routes.

This experiment will help you with this:

  • Turn on the stopwatch.
  • Guess, say, three minutes after which you need to wake up again to look at the dial.
  • If it so happened that you looked at your watch earlier than planned, it means that you are in an unbalanced, neurotic state, and you should be more attentive to your nervous system.
  • If you looked at the dial later, then this indicates your smooth, calm state of health. Looked exactly three minutes later? Then you can become an athlete. You are clearly time-conscious, punctual and able to plan it a realist.
